Watch: Steyn ridicules Michael Mann, other warmist scientists for claiming to be Nobel winners

Sitting next to Penn State climate professor David Titley, Author Mark Steyn calls out, “members of Rear Admiral Titley’s faculty, Michael Mann, Richard Alley, William Easterling. All of whom have falsely claimed to be Nobel prize winners on an industrial scale, as have many other climate scientists.”

MARK STEYN: “Professor Ivar Giaevar, the Nobel prize winner– by the way when I say he’s a Nobel prize winner, I mean he’s a real one. He won the Nobel prize in physics in 1973. Not a fraudulent Nobel prize winner like, unfortunately, large members of Rear Admiral Titley’s faculty, Michael Mann, Richard Alley, William Easterling, all of whom have falsely claimed to be Nobel prize winners on an industrial scale, as have many other climate scientists. There’s never been a misrepresentation of credentials on this scale. It used to be a very serious business, but apparently it’s not when your cause is quote, ‘saving the planet’. But, it is revealing– it is this misrepresentation of credentials by people falsely claiming to be Nobel Laureates –is revealing because it gets to the heart of the problem here that they are attempting to cloak the science in an authority that it does not in fact possess.”

Watch: Aussie Geologist Dr. Robert Carter in Paris: ‘It is literally insanity’ to try to stop ‘climate change’

Dr. Bob Carter: ‘Attempting to stop climate change is expensive act of utopia. It is literally insanity. Insanity  meaning out of the rational mind.’

‘Politicians say they are going to ‘stop climate change’. Words fail me.’

‘There is nothing that has come out of the last 20 years of research and hundreds of billions of dollars that has provided a single framework argument that bears on this issue. The science was long ago known at the level of the basic tests of the hypothesis. And I am afraid the UN IPCC is determined to ignore that science.’

‘Climate has always changed and always will. There is nothing unusual about the modern change of temps, ice volume, sea level, extreme weather events, polar bears or even the quality of coffee.’

‘Atmospheric carbon dioxide is neither a pollutant nor it is a primary forcing agent for temperature change. Rather co2 greens the planet and it is an overall  benefit for the  humankind.’

German Meteorologist Klaus-Eckart Puls Calls Climate-Refugee Claims ‘Invented Stories’… UN IPCC Even Refutes

Puls reminds us that even the IPCC has found no basis to support the claim. A number of skeptics view the claim as a desperate stretch designed to divert attention away from the real reasons: abject social and foreign policy failure. Recently the IPCC backed off from the speculative claims of climate driven refugees.

Puls writes that the “UN IPCC took back its analyses and prognoses on climate refugees in its last 2013/14 report” and that “the steppes and deserts are in fact ‘greening’”. At EIKE he provides the following chart which clearly shows that Africa is greening and that it is all part of a natural cycle:

UN IPCC Lead Author: 25 Years Of Failed Global Warming Policies Have Made Us Poorer

Environmental economist Richard Tol wants the world to deal with global warming, but his data shows the past 25 years of climate policies in rich countries have done nothing to fundamentally tackle the issue.

If anything, Tol argues, current and past climate policies have only served to make most people a little poorer while benefiting those in politically favored industries or with connections to powerful politicians.

“Twenty-five years of climate policy has made most of us a little poorer,” Tol told an audience gathered at the libertarian Cato Institute Friday, adding that such policies also made “some of us a little richer” — referring to those getting green energy subsidies and government grants.

In Tol’s view, climate policies have been more about “rewarding allies with rents and subsidies rather than emissions reduction.”
