White House report: Register to vote to ‘promote psychological resilience’ to climate change

Discussing the findings of the new White House report ‘Impacts of Climate Change on Human Health in the United States’, HHS Director Daniel Dodgen says registering to vote “promotes psychological resilience” to extreme weather events caused by climate change.

DR DANIEL DODGEN: “In some communities that have been hard hit by severe weather events, we actually find just people who are registered to vote — communities where there’s high voter participation — those communities come back faster. It’s just a small example but it suggests that when you are engaged in your community it promotes psychological resilience.”

  1. Wow! I’m registered to vote and am resilient enough to have hope that the Earth will be able to recover from this Global Warming stupidity being promoted by liberals who want money and control!

  2. This “climate change” episode has got to go into the next version of that book ..”The Madness of Crowds…..”. Their claims would be hilarious if it had not coming from sources with the power to destroy all of us.

    1. Exactly, it’s like watching a really bad surreal circus, not the leader of the free world… Like a bunch of Sophomores running social experiments (while lining their pockets).. insanity on the largest scale in my lifetime.

  3. If you can’t provide either realistic evidence or alter the outcome in the least ….. might as well try for psychological resilience. Whatever that is. Must be from the mouth of a psych – they’re the only ones in health care who require neither evidence nor outcome to be payed.

  4. I morn for what our nation has become is such a short time. I am 50 now, and I even miss Bill Clinton if you can believe that.. Ronald, where are you buddy, we need you…

  5. I have no idea what “psychological resilience” but these guys are oblivious to the difference between cause and effect. Might I suggest that those places where people care about their community will: A. rebuild faster, and B. be more likely to vote. Getting more people to vote in order to get this “psychological resilience” is like shaking trees to cause the wind to blow (or maybe more like throwing leaves around to get the tree to move).
