Hottest Year?! NOAA claimed ‘record heat’ in numerous locations that don’t have any actual thermometers
NOAA claimed record heat in numerous locations is September, like these ones in Africa and the Middle East.
This is a remarkable feat, given that they don’t have any actual thermometers in those regions. In fact, NOAA doesn’t have any thermometers on about half of the land surface.
Satellite temperatures showed that September was close to normal in those regions which NOAA declared to be record hot.

Not only is the land data fake, but much of the ocean data is fake too.

The issue Ray alludes to is that in addition to the issue
of many more drifters providing measurements over the last
5-10 years, the measurements are coming in from places where we didn’t have much ship data in the past. For much of the SH between 40 and 60S the normals are mostly made up as there is very little ship data there.Cheers
Phil
The global surface temperature record is garbage. This is the 21st century, and it needs to be replaced by satellite temperatures which show little or no warming this century.…
NASA Lead ‘Global Warming’ Scientist Threatens To Resign If Trump Cuts Funding
NASA’s top climate scientist urged President-elect Donald Trump to keep paying for global warming programs, but threatened to resign if Trump censored his science.
Dr. Gavin Schmidt, the director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, told the Independent he and other government scientists are “not going to stand” for any funding cuts or other interference in their work.
“The point is simple: the climate is changing and you can try to deny it, you can appoint people who don’t care about it into positions of power, but regardless nature has the last vote on this,” Schmidt, told The Independent Thursday. “It’s something we’re going to have to deal with sooner or later, and it’s better sooner rather than later. We don’t have a choice if we’re going to deal with it.”

More reaction from Tony Heller of Real Climate Science: ‘NASA’s Gavin Schmidt has been producing meaningless temperature data sets in support of President Obama’s attempt to seize control of the energy supply, and now promises to resign when his work is independently analyzed by the Trump Administration.’

Bill O’Reilly says Trump ‘should accept UN Paris treaty on climate to buy some goodwill overseas’
…Ex-Irish President Mary Robinson: US Will Become Rogue Nation If Trump Pulls Out of Climate Deal
MARY ROBINSON: Thank you, Amy. And happy Climate Justice Day, the first Climate Justice Day at any COP.
AMY GOODMAN: Well, congratulations also on your new appointment, which is what?
…
AMY GOODMAN: You have said that if Donald Trump pulls out, it would make the US a rogue nation. Do you stand by that?
MARY ROBINSON: I said “a kind of rogue nation,” because, you know, how can you sign up to something that’s so important for the world, that the world knows is real and happening, and then, somehow, because somebody is blind to or pretends to be blind to the consequences because of the lobbies that are surrounding him — I’m afraid that that just is not acceptable to the world. And what I’m — what I’m worried about is the damage to, you know, the kind of role of leadership on values of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The United States has its own problems with human rights, but it’s always been a leader in promoting these values and gender equality and other values. And many of these are more at risk, especially in the United States. And it’s their problem more than a problem for the world, which will go ahead with the climate agreement.…
Trump fears push UN summit to call climate action an ‘urgent duty’
MARRAKESH, Morocco: Fears that U.S. President-elect Donald Trump will pull out of the 2015 Paris Agreement to limit global warming pushed almost 200 nations at climate talks in Morocco on Thursday to declare action an “urgent duty”.
Trump has called man-made global warming a hoax and has said he will withdraw from the Paris Agreement, which seeks to wean the global economy off fossil fuels this century with a shift to renewable energies such as wind and solar power.
In a statement, the ministers at the meeting said momentum for cutting greenhouse gases was “irreversible” and reaffirmed their commitment to “full implementation” of the Paris accord.
“We call for the highest political commitment to combat climate change, as a matter of urgent priority,” they said in the Marrakesh Action Proclamation.
“Our climate is warming at an alarming and unprecedented rate and we have an urgent duty to respond,” it said. Delegates applauded, joined hands above their heads in standing ovation after the proclamation was read out.…
Skeptics Crash UN Summit To Issue A Blistering Rebuke Of Climate Alarmism
One of America’s most prominent global warming skeptics showed up at the United Nations summit in Morocco with a lengthy report challenging the notion the climate is spiraling out of control.
Marc Morano, the publisher of Climate Depot, has one thing to say to UN delegates: Donald Trump is right, Al Gore is wrong on global warming.
“All of the so-called ‘solutions’ to global warming are purely symbolic when it comes to climate,” Morano wrote in his new report. “So, even if we actually faced a climate catastrophe and we had to rely on a UN climate agreement, we would all be doomed!”
Morano points to a slew of “inconvenient” data points in his “2016 State of the Climate Report” to bolster his case against global warming alarmism:

…Global warming is ‘literally changing our genes’ – It ‘has already altered genes & basically every aspect of life on Earth’
It looks like global warming’s impact goes far beyond simply affecting temperatures on our planet. A new study published in the journal Science reveals that global climate change has already altered genes and entire ecosystems — basically every aspect of life on Earth.…
