In order to understand the so-called science of climatology and origins of anthropogenic cause, one needs to look at the history of climatology. In the olden days, climatologists were called rainmakers and voodoo priests. They cut the heads off of chickens and drank blood from their necks, smeared pig fat all over themselves, organized huge drum circles, convinced villagers of their guilt, and hurled the virgin children into volcanoes to appease non-existent rain and crop gods, while creating an impression of having a connection to an occult we mere mortals cannot understand.

Approx half a million years of steady rise and fall cycling up and down approx 100 ppm every 100,000 years, like the steady rhythm of a heartbeat or breath and then suddenly in 50 years we have knocked the levels off by double that bandwidth.

1) Can you name just ONE benefit to the earths warming? If they can’t answer this simple question, then they haven’t done any research into the subject at all. They are just repeating the ‘doctrine’.
2) Does the suns cyclic nature have anything at all to do with global warming/cooling?
3) If Co2 is some kind of pollutant, why do plants do so much better with an elevated Co2 environment? The current level of around 400 ppm is about half of what the flora of the planet would thrive in, which would result in stronger (needing less in the way of fertilizers and insecticides) and more productive food crops. It would also require less water per plant.
4) If global warming/cooling is a result of man made changes, then why are dinosaurs extinct? What about the ice ages and warm periods in the past history of the earth that predated SUV’s?

Humanity is performing a very dangerous experiment by changing the composition of our atmosphere. Why should we take a chance with the life support system of our home planet? If we were to burn all the fossil fuels that we now know about, this planet would be uninhabitable.
CO2 traps infrared radiation from the sun. You can demonstrate this with a simple experiment. Take two mason jars and put a thermometer in each. Then pour some baking soda and vinegar into one. Immediately seal them tight and place them both in the sun. The one with the baking soda/vinegar will have more carbon dioxide and will heat up much faster.
Isn’t it better to do this experiment in a mason jar rather then the entire planet?

What this really means is that humans have no idea what causes climate to change and have nothing in their power to stop it, speed it up or slow it down. Climate change has nothing to do with human activity.
If people are more docile in warm weather why would that result in an INCREASE in violence and war? Wouldn’t it lead to peace through passivity? The global warming kooks have been talking nonsense for over a century, why does anyone listen to them?

This is a fascinating theory. Is it the actual change in climate over time that does it or is it just warmer temperatures in general. If that’s the case then we should see countries that are in much colder climates have significantly different government structures and population behaviors (in terms of gullibility) relative to countries in much warmer climates. If that’s the case then how do you explain Australia? These theories are always based in trying to find some scapegoat for generally bad human behavior. Why do so many people get caught up in it? We have had 2 of our hottest summers (temperatures above 100 for 30 or more days with many record high temperatures) recorded in the last 5 years in Oklahoma. If you’re still alive in forty years or so, you’ll probably want to go vacation somewhere else for that summer. Just a heads up.

If you want to see the link between climate and politics in the 1930’s, look at the Dust Bowl and the fate of the migrants, the so-called “Okies”, in California. Their migration caused major upheaval and unrest all over the West.
