Ted Cruz: ‘Climate Change Is Not Science. It’s Religion.’

Glenn sat down with Ted Cruz one on one so his audience could get to know the Senator a little more and find out where he stands on various issues. When discussing climate change, Cruz related an experience where he made a point to make it clear to everyone he’s a “skeptic” of climate change. Citing satellite data showing no significant warming, Cruz explained why he thinks those who promote the idea of climate change choose to ignore such facts. “Climate change is not science, it’s religion,” Cruz said.

Morano: Hi Marc Morano, with Climate Hustle. What is your message here in Lima?

Rajendra Pachauri: Science. Be conscious of the science.

Morano question: You once said the IPCC was at the ‘beck and call’ of governments. How does that affect the science. Is science altered to suit politics? (See: UN IPCC Chair Rajendra Pachauri admits purpose of UN IPCC report it to make the case that ‘action is needed on climate change’ – UN IPCC chair Pachauri: ‘If the governments decide we should do things differently and come up with a vastly different set of products we would be at their beck and call.’)

Pachauri: Governments also have to be conscious of the scientific reality. They are not oblivious of what is going to happen if you don’t act. I think they should also be aware of the kinds of actions that need to be taken in order to deal with the problem. So I hope that is going to be the major motivating factor.

Morano: Are you excited about the U.S on board finally?

Pachauri: Its a good thing that the U.S. and China are taking this step and I hope that it will motivate others to do something as well.

Morano: We have an an Apollo astronaut who is coming here from NASA who is a skeptic & You once said that skeptics are akin to people who believe the Earth is flat. What do you say to that? A Nasa astronaut coming who is a skeptic and obviously does not believe the moon-landing was staged? There really is no room for doubt at this point.

In wake of Typhoon Haiyan, Actor George Clooney declares global warming skeptics to be ‘stupid’ and ‘ridiculous’ – Watch Video

Actor George Clooney declared the arguments of global warming skeptics to be “stupid” and “ridiculous.” Clooney made the remarks to reporters on the eve of Typhoon Haiyan hitting the Philippines. He was attending the BAFTA Britannia Awards in Beverly Hills on Saturday night November 9.

“Well it’s just a stupid argument,” Clooney said on the red carpet, referring to the dissenters of man-made global warming.

“If you have 99 percent of doctors who tell you ‘you are sick’ and 1 percent that says ‘you’re fine,’ you probably want to hang out with, check it up for the 99. You know what I mean? The idea that we ignore that we are in some way involved in climate change is ridiculous. What’s the worst thing that happens? We clean up the earth a little bit?”

“I find this to be the most ridiculous argument ever,” Clooney explained.

Clooney added that he was unsure whether global warming was responsible for the Typhoon that devastated the Philippines.

Environmentalist Group BUND Releases Baby-Gassing Video…Shows Agriculture Gassing Field Of Babies With Chemical Pesticides!

Another tasteless, shock-effect promotion video has been released, this one produced by one of Germany’s most prominent environmental groups BUND – for fund-raising!
The video, dubbed “Pesticides – manufactured to kill“, shows hundreds of beautiful babies in an agricultural field who end up getting gassed with pesticides sprayed by a passing airplane.

This is what passes as “protest” by environmental groups nowadays. The more shocking and remote from the truth, the better. Stop at nothing in the pursuit of donations. Scream as loud as you can, shock as much as you can.
This reminds us of the infamous and explosive 10:10 No Pressure video released in 2010 where climate skeptics were blown to bits for complacency in saving energy. The text at the end of the clip reads as follows:
Pesticides manufactured to kill.
Take action now.
For a future without poison.
I have nothing against challenging the use of pesticides, but this is way over the top and lacks all sense decency. And it has nothing to do with the truth. The BUND’s target of course is to emotionally incite hatred and anger using methods from the lowest drawer. Today anyone who disagrees with these zealot environmentalist gets labeled a murderer or gets accused of killing.
Emotionalization is always what desperate debaters wind up using when they lack the facts to convince. And if these planet rescuers are so concerned about babies, why don’t we ever see them lift a finger to protest abortion? These scammers are only concerned about money, power and attention.
As was the case with the 10:10 No Pressure video, the BUND Baby-Gassing video is going to backfire as well.
Already reaction has been harsh. Germany’s flagship Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung writes:
On the BUND’s new campaign against pesticides, business associations and trade groups have sharply criticized the environmental organization on Thursday. The German Federation of Agriculture accuses the BUND of ’incitement’, ‘a virtual crusade’ and ‘false propaganda’.
