Review: ‘Climate Hustle’ Exposes Global-warming Con Job – ‘Humor throughout the film is absolutely fantastic’

Among the film’s most important contributions to the climate debate: Morano allows alarmists to speak for themselves throughout the documentary. Climate Hustle is packed with clips and interviews of alarmist politicians, “experts,” celebrities, and scientists bloviating about alleged man-made global cooling, warming, the supposed urgency of doing something about it, and more. Hilariously, some of the supposed effects of alleged man-made global warming — everything from weather events and increased prostitution to rape, car theft, airplane turbulence, barroom brawls, and even the extinction of coffee — are highlighted, too.

That way, as the film shows, no matter what happens — heat, cold, snow, drought, rain, floods, tornado, hurricane, storms, no storms, etc. — can always be blamed on evil humans and their evil CO2 emissions.

Some experts quoted in the film compare the current government-funded climate hysteria to the hysteria surrounding the witchcraft trials of centuries ago. Also mentioned in relation to the increasingly bizarre climate alarmism: Aztec blood sacrifices to end drought, including the sacrifice of thousands of people in a few weeks to appease the angry climate gods.

‘Climate Hustle’ review: ‘This is an amazing film…Really excellent…uses humor…May be the best skeptical film ever’

Watch review:

CLIMATE HUSTLE, new documentary film from Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, reviewed by Tom Harris, Executive Director, International Climate Science Coalition.

Selected excerpts from Tom Harris video review: “A fabulous film narrated by Marc Morano.

This is an amazing film. I think it even challenges the great global warming swindle as the best film ever put out on this side of the climate debate.

One of the things you will really enjoy is you will see the contest of the forecasts of the climate alarmists with what really happened.

Morano has combined a really excellent, excellent overview of the field with humor and fantastic graphics and interviews with some of the world’s leading experts who don’t think that we are causing a climate crisis.

He also talks about some of the dangerous consequences of what happens if you oppose political correctness.

Make sure you see Climate Hustle. It is a big success!

The UN Sec. Gen. really should see this film because it really shows that the [climate] data is not there.”

Amid the light-hearted fanfare generated by environmental activists in the French capital, however, the climate summit has also been notable for a hardening of tone against perceived climate-change deniers — several of whom have been subject to highly personalised campaigns.

Fiona Wild, a representative of the mining group BHP Billiton at the talks, flew back to Australia on Thursday after becoming the focus of an aggressive campaign against individuals in Paris accused of trying to water down the final climate agreement.
Ms Wild and several others had their faces plastered on more than 1,000 large “wanted” posters, which were put up around luxury hotels in Paris. The targets were accused of being “climate criminals” trying to “keep fossil fuels at the centre of human development”.

emissions.
A spokesperson for BHP Billiton said Ms Wild flew back to Australia before the end of the summit “following a very concerning campaign by French activists . . . which incorrectly claimed BHP Billiton [and Ms Wild] were climate-change deniers”.
One person close to Ms Wild said she had also been warned that more personal attacks against her were to come. The BHP Billiton spokesperson called the campaign “highly personalised and unfair”.
The crusade reflected the generally hostile attitude to climate sceptics in Paris, with senior policy figures making clear that this time they were not welcome and their point of view was no longer valid.

Others on the “wanted” list included Benjamin Sporton, head of the World Coal Association; Marc Morano, who runs the climate sceptic website ClimateDepot.com; Myron Ebell, director of the US think-tank Competitive Enterprise Institute; Bjorn Lomborg, Danish author of The Skeptical Environmentalist; and James Taylor, senior fellow at the Heartland Institute, another US libertarian think-tank.
Some were more relaxed than others about being branded “criminals”.…

Warmist Randy Olson on Climate Hustle: ‘I’m willing to bet money that at least it won’t be boring, which is lot more than can be said for vast majority of generally-sucky efforts of environmentalists’

As a rule, environmentalists are largely humorless. When it comes to climate, this is compounded by an air of self-righteousness, making them prime targets for ridicule. Tonight in Paris we’ll see if Marc Morano is able to take advantage of this. It shouldn’t be too hard.

HELPING YOUR ENEMY’S CAUSE? Whoever is behind these posters in Paris, do they realize what they are doing? They might as well donate to Marc Morano’s climate skepticism cause to help him with publicity.

WHAT’S THE FUNNIEST CLIMATE MOVIE EVER MADE?

When it comes to climate and humor it’s pretty much of a contradiction in terms. The only humor in “An Inconvenient Truth,” was Gore making fun of his clueless elementary school science teacher who, “probably grew up to become the science advisor to the current (Bush) administration” (way to alienate the Republicans you’re hoping to reach in the first ten minutes of your movie).

He was intrigued by the power of humor, was intrigued by the power of film, has a natural ability with humor (many of the reviews of “Merchants of Doubt” called him the best thing in the movie, including a kid at the test screening I attended who said, “I know I’m not supposed to like him, but the guy in the movie I’d most want to have a beer with is Marc Morano”).

His new movie “Climate Hustle” premieres tonight in Paris. I’m willing to bet money that at least it won’t be boring, which is a whole lot more than can be said for the vast majority of the well intentioned, generally-sucky efforts of environmentalists. I’m not a supporter of Marc’s agenda and never have been, but I do appreciate that he is at least a soldier in the War on Boredom, which is what I think is truly the greatest threat to humanity.
