Via France 24: Philippe Verdier, a household name in France for his daily weather reports on the France 2 channel, announced in an online video that he had received a letter of dismissal.
“My book ‘Climate Investigation’ was published one month ago. It got me banned from the air waves,” said the weatherman, who was put “on leave” from the TV station on October 12.
“I received this letter this morning and decided to open it in front of you because it concerns everybody- in the name of freedom of expression and freedom of information.”
His announcement comes four days after France Télévisions chief Delphine Ernotte told French MPs that Verdier had been summoned to a formal interview that could lead to his dismissal.
An employee who picked up the phone at France Télévisions on Sunday morning told FRANCE 24 that there were no PRs present to confirm or deny Verdier’s dismissal.
‘Many positive consequences to global warming’
The controversy around Verdier’s claims has likely been heightened by their timing, with his book coming just weeks before the start of a much-anticipated UN climate change summit, known as COP21, to be held in Paris at the end of November.
“I put myself in the path of COP21, which is a bulldozer, and this is the result,” Verdier told RTL radio station in October.
He said he was inspired to write the book after France’s Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius met with TV meteorologists and asked them to highlight climate change issues in their broadcasts.
“I was horrified by this speech,” Verdier told French magazine Les Inrockuptibles last month.
In his book, Verdier accuses state-funded climate change scientists of having been “manipulated” and “politicised”, even accusing the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) of publishing deliberately misleading data.
He also argues that there are “a great many positive consequences to global warming”, such as lower consumption of fuel used for heating and fewer cold-related deaths in winter.
“I am being punished for exercising my freedom of expression,” the weatherman told RTL.`

On June 5, 2009, Joe Romm of Climate Progress defended a posting on his website warning that climate skeptics would be strangled in bed for rejecting the view that we face a man-made climate crisis. “An entire generation will soon be ready to strangle you and your kind while you sleep in your beds,” warned the message posted on Climate Progress.
Romm, a former Clinton Administration official, pulled the comments after Climate Depot drew attention to them. “The original was clearly not a threat but a prediction — albeit one that I certainly do not agree with. Since some people misread it, I am editing it,” Romm wrote.

Another example is that global relative humidity and specific humidity have been decreasing according to data from NOAA; which indeed contradicts all IPCC modeling assumptions.

Sept 2013 – A leaked copy of the 2014 UN IPCC report on global warming says that scientist’s claims that global warming was going to destroy us were drastically wrong.
The new report also notes that scientists had to admit that their forecasts were wildly out of sync with the truth.
Some of the findings that the report contains are as follows:
They recognize the global warming ‘pause’ first reported by The Mail on Sunday last year is real – and concede that their computer models did not predict it. But they cannot explain why world average temperatures have not shown any statistically significant increase since 1997.
They admit large parts of the world were as warm as they are now for decades at a time between 950 and 1250 AD – centuries before the Industrial Revolution, and when the population and CO2 levels were both much lower.
The IPCC admits that while computer models forecast a decline in Antarctic sea ice, it has actually grown to a new record high. Again, the IPCC cannot say why.
Further, these UN scientists now acknowledge that there has, indeed, been a “pause” in rising temperatures, just as so many have said.
A forecast in the 2007 report that hurricanes would become more intense has simply been dropped, without mention.
And yet, even though the new report admits so many errors, these so-called scientists still pack their paper with apocalyptic scenarios about how global warming is still going to kill us all.
This on top of the fact that the Arctic ice sheet has grown despite folks like Al Gore that said by now all the ice should have melted.

Scientists at Antarctica are now saying the Sea ice is growing at 83 million tons per year. IS that because of warming ? If so please explain your reasoning.

But their claim runs counter to direct mass measurements of the ice on Antarctica by GRACE, and contradicts earlier altimeter studies one of which was printed last year.
It was only in 2014 that the first satellite altimeter change study of the Antarctic was made from data from the 3 or 4 years 2011 – 2014.
No one is giving this recent NASA analysis much credibility. But since measurement is so difficult, it may turn out that this new report is correct.
It is doubtful though. GRACE really has the change in mass locked up, since it measures the change directly.

And here is something else many people fail to understand because the hoaxers never put it in perspective. They will claim that CO2 levels have risen 70%. But what they don’t tell you as that CO2 is only 0.01% of the total atmosphere. So the slightest bump in total CO2, can be a 50% increase. In other words, it can go from 0.01% to 0.015% of the total.
We are like bacteria in respect to size on this planet. 8 billion bacteria on a planet this size would still be considered sterile.

They don’t know nearly as much about the climate as they pretend too. There is a lot of grant money available for climate change scientists. There is a lot of potential revenue in taxing carbon. Always follow the money. The climate is so complex on this planet that scientists are only scratching the surface of how some aspects of it function. They know very little in reality. I’m not saying that increasing CO2 is good for life on the planet, it probably isn’t, but no one really knows how or if it will affect the global climate. There are just too many variables and no solid models.
The same thing happens when you question evolution. The woman who discovered soft tissue in dinosaur bones was almost fired. She had to frantically find a way to explain how blood vessels and cells could be naturally preserved for 68 million years. People accused her of being a fraud and committing heresy. Whether is it climate change or evolution, if you speak out against it, they will silence you. That should raise a red flag. I love science, but not the perversion doctrinal nonsense it has become lately. Be skeptical. Follow the money. Question everything, especially the ideas they will vilify you for questioning.

Analysis of their results raise many questions. How about this. Lets sign up proponents and detractors of the results described in this paper. Lets also get NOAA, NASA and NSF in the loop to promote honest and credible scientific practices. We would then put together an objective team to assess the NOAA science method used to modify the raw input data. The input data shows a well defined hiatus. If the proponents that sign up and back these results, then they should get a bump up in their research budget of 10% by the GOV funding orgs. If, however, the skeptics are correct, then they should receive 30% of the proponents research budgets and an 30% from the GOV funding orgs.

The year 2014 – after shattering temperature records that had stood for hundreds of years across virtually all of Europe, and roasting parts of South America, China and Russia – was the hottest on record, with global temperatures 1.24F (0.69C) higher than the 20th-century average, US government scientists said on Friday.
A day after international researchers warned that human activities had pushed the planet to the brink, new evidence of climate change arrived. The world was the hottest it has been since systematic records began in 1880, especially on the oceans, which the agency confirmed were the driver of 2014’s temperature rise.
The global average temperatures over land and sea surface for the year were 1.24F (0.69C) above the 20th-century average, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (Noaa) reported. Nasa, which calculates temperatures slightly differently, put 2014’s average temperature at 14.67C – 0.68C above the average – for the period 1951-80.
The scientists said 2014 was 0.07F (0.04C) higher than the previous records set in 2005 and 2010, and the 38th consecutive year of above-average temperatures.
That means nobody born since 1976 has experienced a colder-than-average year.
“Any one year being a record warm one is not in itself particularly significant, but this is one in a series of record warm years that are driven by the continuing underlying long-term global warming,” said Gavin Schmidt, director of Nasa’s Goddard Institute of Space Studies. “We expect that heat records will continue to get broken – not everywhere and not every year – but increasingly, and that does not bode well for a civilisation that is continuing to add greenhouse gases to the atmosphere at an increasing rate.”
“It is not just 2014, but the long-term trend, so we may anticipate further records in the years to come,” Schmidt said.
The odds of that temperature shift occurring because of natural climate variability were less than one in 27 million, according to the Climate Central research group.
“The data from Nasa and Noaa is the latest scientific evidence that climate change is real, and we must act now to protect our families and future generations,” said Barbara Boxer, the California Democrat and climate champion. “Deniers must stop ignoring these alarms if we are to avoid the worst impacts of climate change.”
The findings from Nasa and Noaa were in line with reports from the United Nations weather organisation, the UK Met Office and Japan’s meteorological agency confirming the steadily upward march of temperatures over the last decades. Thirteen of the 15 hottest years have occurred since 2000. “Nineteen eighty-eight was also a record warm year at the time. Now it doesn’t even rank in the top 20,” Schmidt said.
“We can safely say it’s probably the warmest year in 1,700 and 2,000 years, and I think it’s probably safe to say 5,000 years,” said Don Wuebbles, an atmospheric scientist at the University of Illinois who has worked on a number of IPCC reports. “You have a continuous upward trend over the last century and that is telling us something. We have a clear signal that our climate changing, and when you look at the evidence it’s because of human activities.”
“The evidence is so strong I don’t know why we are arguing any more,” Wuebbles said. “It’s just crazy.”
The last record cold year was more than a century ago in 1911.
The scientists noted that the 2014 record occurred without the help of a strong El Nino, a global weather phenomenon known for pushing more heat into the atmosphere.
Campaign groups said the milestone ought to spur new efforts to fight climate change. “The Obama administration must back international efforts to achieve zero carbon emissions by 2050,” said Shaye Wolf, the climate science director with the Center for Biological Diversity. “We need a global agreement that keeps most dirty fossil fuels in the ground and provides ample support for developing nations to leapfrog into clean energy economies.”
On the current emissions trajectory, the world will attain warming of 4 or 5C by 2100, which climate scientists say would be catastrophic.
Ocean surface temperatures were far warmer in 2014 than any year on record, especially in the northern Pacific. In April, westerly winds began spreading that very warm water out along the equator to the eastern Pacific and around to the Gulf of Alaska – releasing heat that had been locked in the depths for nearly a decade. The unusually warm waters shifted hurricane tracks, weakened trade winds, and led to widespread bleaching of coral reefs in Hawaii. Vast expanses of the north-western and south-eastern Atlantic, most of the Norwegian Sea, and parts of the central to southern Indian Ocean were also extraordinarily warm. Global sea-surface temperatures were 1.03°F (0.57°C) above the 20th-century average.
On land, temperature records toppled almost everywhere.
Much of Europe and parts of North Africa sweated out heatwaves. England saw its hottest year in three and a half centuries, according to the Central England Temperature data set. Nearly every weather station set new records. Transport crew in Norway had to hose down runways to prevent them buckling in the heat. Finns were warned they may soon face Decembers without snow. Australia had a series of heatwaves.
“Every continent had some aspect of record high temperatures,” Thomas Karl, director of Noaa’s National Climatic Data Center.
For North America – aside from California and Alaska – it was the opposite story. The year was so cold it spawned two new meteorological terms: polar vortex for the Arctic blast at the beginning of the year and lake effect, for the 2ft of snow dumped on Buffalo in November.
But California saw its hottest year, with annual average temperatures 4.1F (2.3C) higher than 20th century average, and scant relief for a punishing drought.
Elsewhere, Argentina was plagued by water shortages and power blackouts as extreme heat engulfed South America, setting new temperature records in Brazil and Bolivia.
The year also brought heavy rainfall and flooding in some countries.
Parts of Turkey saw five times the normal amount of rain, and France experienced its wettest summer since 1959. Rivers broke up earlier than ever recorded in Siberia. Millions of people were affected by heavy rains and severe flooding in northern Bangladesh, northern Pakistan and India.
Sea ice extent was below average on the Pacific side of the Arctic and near-average on the Atlantic side.

The facts of this are amazingly simple:
CO2 is a “trace gas” in air, insignificant by definition. It absorbs 1/7th as much IR, heat energy, from sunlight as water vapor which has 188 times as many molecules capturing 1200 times as much heat making 99.8% of all “global warming.” CO2 does only 0.2% of it. For this we should destroy our economy?
There is no “greenhouse effect” in an atmosphere. A greenhouse has a solid, clear cover that traps heat. The atmosphere does not trap heat as gas molecules cannot form surfaces to work as greenhouses. Molecules must be in contact, as in liquids and solids to form surfaces.

Vostock Ice Core data analysis show CO2 increases follow temperature by 800 years 19 times in 450,000 years. Thus temperature change is cause and CO2 change is effect. This alone refutes the anthropogenic global warming hypothesis.
Methane is called “a greenhouse gas 20 to 500 times more potent than CO2,” by Heidi Cullen and Jim Hansen, but it is not per the energy absorption chart at the American Meteorological Society. It has an absorption profile very similar to nitrogen which is classified “transparent” to IR, heat waves and is
only present to 18 ppm. “Green vegans” blame methane in cow flatulence for global warming in their war against eating meat.
Carbon combustion generates 80% of our energy. Control and taxing of carbon would give the elected ruling class more power and money than anything since the Magna Carta of 1215 AD.
Most scientists and science educators work for tax supported institutions. They are eager to help government raise more money for them and they love being seen as “saving the planet.”

The retreating Mendenhall Glacier in Alaska, the one President O just visited, recently exposed some curious items.
What items?
Tree trunks, still attached to the ground, that grew during period 900ad to 1300ad.
What does that mean?
It means that the Mendehall Glacier retreated past the current point during the period 900ad to 1300ad and allowed the 100 year old trees to grow.
Then, during the mini ice-age, 1610 -1705, the Glacier advanced again and covered over the trees.
What else happened during this time? The sun spot activity was in almost exact unison with the advance and decline of the glacier.
This, more than any “data” proves that “globull warming” has nothing to do “man made CO2” and has everything to do with the sun.
