Pamela Anderson calls global warming ‘the most important issue to anybody in the whole world’
Scientific ‘Consensus’ Can’t Agree On The Existence Of The Global Warming Hiatus
But scientists across the Atlantic aren’t buying American scientists’ claims the hiatus in warming never happened. Just a couple days before the release of the Stanford study, the UK’s Met Office — the premier climate research unit in the country — released findings that the hiatus in warming could last a few more years because of natural cooling cycles over the Atlantic Ocean.
“Observational and model estimates further suggest [Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation] shifts have an effect on global mean near-surface temperatures of about 0.1˚C,” the Met Office wrote in its September climate outlook. “A rapid AMO decline could therefore maintain the current slowdown in global warming longer than would otherwise be the case.”

RICO Skeptics: Silencing Dissent Via the Police – No Climate Free Speech
Climate change skeptics attack Pope Francis in Phila.
“This is about taxation without representation,” said Elizabeth Yore, an attorney known for fighting child abuse and human trafficking.
Gene Koprowski, Heartland’s marketing director, said he and colleagues initially thought the pope had spoken about climate change because he was getting “bad advice.” They now think he is inspired in part by “pagan remnants” of “nature worship” that have crept into the church, he said.
“I think we’re seeing the revelation of an animistic form in the church,” Koprowski said

Nobel Laureate Physicist Dr. Ivar Giaever. Where’s the warming in Greenland? ‘There’s no warming there’
Where’s the warming in Greenland? – Video
http://iceagenow.info/2015/09/wheres-the-warming-in-greenland-video/
“We’re told that the ice in Greenland will disappear,” says Nobel Laureate Ivar Giaever. But there’s no warming there. “There’s information on the internet, which is wonderful, says Giaever. “And I looked it up.” There are four harbors in Greenland, says Giaever. They are Upernavik, Iluissat/Jakobshavn, Nuuk/Godthab and Tasiilaq/Ammassalik. Look at Giaever’s chart. On the left you see the five coldest years. On the right, the five warmest years. Now look at the dates. “The warmest years are basically in the 1930s,” says Giaever. “Those are the facts. Those are the temperatures the people in the harbors in Greenland has measured over the years. And it doesn’t look like it’s getting any warmer.” (This info is at approx. 15:40 on the video below.) If you haven’t yet viewed the video, you’ll find it to be a real eye opener. The post Where’s the warming in Greenland? – Video appeared first on Ice Age Now.

Meteorologist Joe Bastardi: Quick Note to the Pope
http://patriotpost.us/opinion/37721
Just two charts I would ask the pope to look at.
1.) Human progress: The amount of people, life expectancy and global personal GDP. These “hockey sticks” show that, since the advent of fossil fuels, the human condition has improved immensely.
2.) The factual record of CO2 and temperature in the geological history of the earth.
There is no apparent linkage, so why is CO2 suddenly the climate control knob when there were years with higher CO2 and lower temperatures?
I won’t go any further except to say I can’t believe his excellency, if exposed to this, would not at the very least question the positions he has adopted. It is my hope while he is here that he at least glances at other information such as this.
Joe Bastardi is chief forecaster at WeatherBELL Analytics, a meteorological consulting firm.…
House Republican Plans to Boycott Pope Francis’s Speech Over Climate Change
In an op-ed on the conservative site Townhall.com, the Arizona Republican appears very much concerned that Francis will urge action to fight climate change when he becomes the first pope to speak directly to a joint session of Congress. The pontiff is an outspoken advocate of action to combat man-made climate change, a stand that does not sit well with Gosar, a skeptic of the scientific consensus that human activity is the primary driver of dangerous global warming.
“At this pivotal moment in world history, His Holiness, Pope Francis, is intending to spend the majority of his time on one of the world’s greatest stages focusing on climate change,” Gosar writes, declaring: “If the Pope plans to spend the majority of his time advocating for flawed climate-change policies, then I will not attend.”…
Report: ‘NOAA Massively Ramps Up Their Temperature Fraud’ Ahead Of UN Climate Summit
World court should rule on climate science to quash skeptics, says Law Prof. Philippe Sands
Sands, a professor of international law at University College London and author of influential books on the Iraq war and interrogation techniques at Guantánamo Bay, said that failure to act on climate change would lead to an even bigger European refugee crisis than today’s.
…
“A finding of fact on one or more of these matters [such as whether climate change is man-made], or indeed on other pertinent matters, would be significant and authoritative and could well be dispositive on a range of future actions, including negotiations.” Scientifically-settled questions such as whether climate change is even happening are still being challenged by “scientifically qualified, knowledgeable and influential persons”, he said.

Scientists Ask Obama To Prosecute Global Warming Skeptics
Arizona Democratic Rep. Raul Grijalva went after universities employing these researchers, which resulted in one expert being forced to get out of the field of climate research altogether.
“I am simply not initiating any new research or papers on the topic and I have ring-fenced my slowly diminishing blogging on the subject,” Dr. Roger Pielke Jr. of the University of Colorado wrote on his blog.
“Congressman Grijalva doesn’t have any evidence of any wrongdoing on my part, either ethical or legal, because there is none,” Pielke wrote. “He simply disagrees with the substance of my testimony – which is based on peer-reviewed research funded by the US taxpayer, and which also happens to be the consensus of the IPCC (despite Holdren’s incorrect views).”
