A quick update for sea ice extent:

Global Sea Ice is 616,000 sq km above the 1981-2010 mean. That is 5th highest for the day.
Antarctic Sea Ice is  1,240,000 sq km above the 1981-2010 mean. That is highest for this day. 25th daily record for the day.
Arctic Sea Ice is only 620,000 sq km below the 1981-2010 mean.
