Mark Steyn files to push Mann trial forward

The process is the punishment. Agents of the Big-government Blob have access to a bottomless pit of lawyers. They can not only afford endless trials, for them it’s an advantage. Drag it out, wear opponents down, exhaust their coffers. And while the case is ever-pending and never-ending it’s already a win for the accuser — silencing critics, and endorsing celebrity “victim-status”. When the defendants witnesses are older and wiser, there’s another dark advantage too — vale Bob Carter. What they cannot afford though is discovery. So they can’t afford to sue a guy like Mark Steyn. This is about free speech and accountability of publicly funded scientists. Steyn could use your help. See also The criminalization of dissent. As Steyn says: “It is particularly absurd that an interlocutory ruling on a piece of legislation intended to expedite cases has now taken over two years and counting.” What is Mann hiding? – Jo Mark Steyn Files For Expedited Hearing in Mann v. Steyn, et al Washington, DC — Today, Mark Steyn requested that the Superior Court of the District of Columbia expedite the hearing and lift the […]Rating: 0.0/10 (0 votes cast)

Watch: Steyn ridicules Michael Mann, other warmist scientists for claiming to be Nobel winners

Published on Dec 9, 2015
Sitting next to Penn State climate professor David Titley, Author Mark Steyn calls out, “members of Rear Admiral Titley’s faculty, Michael Mann, Richard Alley, William Easterling. All of whom have falsely claimed to be Nobel prize winners on an industrial scale, as have many other climate scientists.”

Hearing: Data or Dogma? Promoting Open Inquiry in the Debate over the Magnitude of Human Impact on Earth’s Climate
US Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation
December 8, 2015

MARK STEYN: “Professor Ivar Giaevar, the Nobel prize winner– by the way when I say he’s a Nobel prize winner, I mean he’s a real one. He won the Nobel prize in physics in 1973. Not a fraudulent Nobel prize winner like, unfortunately, large members of Rear Admiral Titley’s faculty, Michael Mann, Richard Alley, William Easterling, all of whom have falsely claimed to be Nobel prize winners on an industrial scale, as have many other climate scientists. There’s never been a misrepresentation of credentials on this scale. It used to be a very serious business, but apparently it’s not when your cause is quote, ‘saving the planet’. But, it is revealing– it is this misrepresentation of credentials by people falsely claiming to be Nobel Laureates –is revealing because it gets to the heart of the problem here that they are attempting to cloak the science in an authority that it does not in fact possess.”

A detailed review of the book: ‘A Disgrace to the Profession’, by Mark Steyn

http://wattsupwiththat.com/2015/08/28/a-detailed-review-of-the-book-a-disgrace-to-the-profession-by-mark-steyn

Book review by Andy May Mark Steyn has written a wonderful new book on Dr. Michael Mann’s hockey stick and the controversy surrounding it. It is difficult to overstate the significance or impact of Mann’s Hockey Stick (Mann, Bradley, Hughes (23 April 1998), “Global-scale temperature patterns and climate forcing over the past six centuries” (PDF), […]

Steyn’s book on Mann surges in Amazon rankings, leaving climate alarmism books in the dust

http://wattsupwiththat.com/2015/08/13/steyns-book-on-mann-surges-in-amazon-rankings-leaving-climate-alarmism-books-in-the-dust

Readers surely recall the review I gave of Mark Steyn’s new book A Disgrace To The Profession on Michael E. Mann’s science as told by other climate scientists around the world. On August 11th, when I ran my review, this was the ranking for the book in Amazon – #12,246: Today, two days later, the […]

“A Disgrace to the Profession” The World’s Scientists own words on Mann and his Hockey Stick

http://joannenova.com.au/2015/08/a-disgrace-to-the-profession-the-worlds-scientists-own-words-on-mann-and-his-hockey-stick/

.. The unstoppable Mark Steyn has collected illuminating quotes from Michael Mann’s peers about the value of the Hockey Stick and Mann’s work. Steyn has both announced the book, and taken apart the critics like “Sir Charles” already. In fine form: “…not a single amicus brief was filed in support of Mann by any scientist or any scientific body. As I say in the book, Mann claims to be taking a stand for science, but science is disinclined to take a stand for him” Is there any writer more apt, more prosaic or more entertaining? There are cartoons from Josh too: A guy can’t sit around waiting for litigious fake Nobel Laureates to agree to discovery and deposition. So, with the Mann vs Steyn Trial of the Century currently stalled in the choked septic tank of the DC court system, I figured I might as well put some of the mountain of case research clogging up the office into a brand new book – all about the most famous “science” graph of the 21st century and the man who invented it. Michael E Mann’s defamation […]Rating: 10.0/10 (1 vote cast)

“A Disgrace to the Profession” by Mark Steyn – now available

http://www.bishop-hill.net/blog/2015/8/11/a-disgrace-to-the-profession-by-mark-steyn-now-available.html

In the US you can order Mark Styen’s book here and orders can be shipped to the UK, if not from Amazon then try Mark’s own bookstore. It has cartoons by me and was a fun project to be involved in. It is also a hugely entertaining and informative read and, although I might be slightly biased, I think this is going to be this summer’s must-read climate tome! Posted by Josh
