Physicist Dr. Denis Rancourt reviews: ‘Climate Hustle is a solid, well crafted, & highly entertaining film’ – ‘Fast-paced, fun’

Hustle is a solid, well crafted, and highly entertaining documentary film that makes extensive use of authoritative sources. Namely, serious scientists who have substantively questioned the agenda-driven global warming bandwagon, and who are willing to say so publicly.

The film is a precious contemporary record of the politicization of establishment science, and also documents how conscientious scientists can come to dissent from a majority view, when too much is too much. The personal story of highly regarded climatologist Judith Curry is simply riveting in that regard, as are others.

The historical 1970s footage of “the coming ice age” frenzy and the depictions of the shrill current alarmists are priceless. And I love the interviewed writer’s explanation of the human psychology of alarmism.

Hustle is fast-paced, fun, and thought provoking throughout. The characters are wonderfully human.

The film does give the impression, which can also be detected in the scientific literature, that climate scientists will correct their over zealous departure from objectivity, but it’s not at all certain that the main culprits will be purged. In my opinion, the likely scenario is that the science will now go on its merry way and the US-regime global architects will implement what ever they can get away with in the cloud of publicity, institutional and diplomatic deception that they have created […

Warmist attends Climate Hustle screening: Observes the ‘crowd loves…the crowd chuckles…Folks laugh along’ – MY EVENING W/ CLIMATE HUSTLE, SARAH PALIN, & THEM’

Warmist David Shreve: There’s no sign over the door to the balcony theater showing this strange new manifesto. For a moment, my counter-paranoia gets the best of me and I think of how secretive this feels. The absence of the film from all the appropriate advertising spaces, the extra five dollar fee, the unmarked theater, the geese keeping guard. It’s almost like finding the Fight Club of willful ignorance and mindless conspiracy theories…

As this plays, more people pour in. I expect mostly angry middle class men but I’m wrong. The only constant quality of all the attendees is that they’re all white. Make of that what you will. A father with his teenage son sit at the end of my row. Then enter some husbands and wives, more fathers and sons…

Two muscle bound 20-somethings sit behind me and, I swear, they bump fists as one of them says, “Bro, I’m just so happy to see this many people here that care.”…

This audience is the most expressive I’ve sat with in a long, long time…

Throughout the movie, a smarmy actor randomly pops up in the bottom corner of the screen and pantomimes expressive over-reaction and the crowd loves this device. Some even applaud it…

Folks laugh along, even though the joke would suggest that Gore is an upward trending genius…

Morano surmises with unearned condescension before calling a dog into the near solid-black frame. The crowd chuckles at the crack without even bothering to observe that the dog is almost as dark as the screen behind him and virtually undetectable were it not for the wagging tale against the host’s arms. The nearly invisible dog, incidentally, is my favorite part of the movie…

It’s true and perhaps necessarily observed that people like Marc Morano — those people who either intentionally promote ignorance or at least knowingly involve themselves in imperative matters in which their voices do not belong — are not good people.

Wash. Times Editorial: ‘Climate Hustle’ Challenges Climate Claims: ‘A new documentary questions the official catechism of the greenies’

The documentary played the skunk at the United Nations climate-change garden party in Paris in December, disputing the notion that super hurricanes and tornadoes will flatten areas remaining above water once the melting ice caps submerge the world’s coastal cities. Following the Paris party, the leaders of 192 nations gathered in New York on Earth Day to sign a climate-change deal.

In the context of the global warming debate, “Climate Hustle” argues that the underlying agenda of the climate change lobby is not about the climate at all. It’s about badgering, to force a globalist administration on the world for redistributing the wealth from prosperous nations to improvident poor ones.

National Review on ‘Climate Hustle’: ‘Impressive’ – ‘Hilarious’ Exposé of Global-Warming Alarmism

Climate Hustle exposes the industry of climate alarmism through an impressive sequence of interviews and news clips revealing the politicized narrative pushed onto the public…

Damning sequences show original clips of news anchors and scientists changing their tune as doom-predicting climate models fail to match the facts…

Climate Hustle is at its best when juxtaposing contradictory claims. And they are everywhere…

Morano shows scientists walking back some of their bizarre predictions, and he also shows mainstream climate scientists admitting they’re not on board with the headline-grabbing acts…

In old letters that Climate Hustle digs up, Thomas Jefferson and the first president of the British Royal Society worried about infrequent winter snow and shrinking Greenland ice in the early 19th century…

Morano appears prominently in Climate Hustle, which he co-wrote and narrates. He is an intelligent, witty man who’s followed climate science closely for years, but by the end of the first hour his smart-aleck style gets in the way……

Why 6 LA scientists went on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel to tell you climate change $%&*!#@ exists

A video from a late-night TV show featuring six Southern California climate scientists speaking in plain language about the reality of climate change — some using bleeped out profanity to underscore their message — has gone viral.

Colorado lawmaker under fire encouraging colleagues to see ‘Climate Hustle’

DENVER – Republican state Rep. J. Paul Brown encouraged fellow lawmakers on Tuesday to see “Climate Hustle,” a “global warming comedy” that critics say foolishly emboldens climate change skeptics.

Brown, from Ignacio, made his comment during an evening debate before the full House, speaking to colleagues from a podium at the front of the chamber.

Lawmakers were discussing legislation that would require the Public Utilities Commission to consider greenhouse gas emissions when contemplating a utility’s electric proposals.

The remark raised eyebrows.

Later that evening, Brown told The Durango Herald that he is skeptical as to the cause of climate change.

“We continue to have climate change, I just question whether it’s man-made,” Brown said.

The film premiered in theaters for one day on Monday, when Brown saw it. Future releases are expected and trailers are available online at ClimateHustleMovie.com.

“‘Climate Hustle’… reveals the history of climate scares, including global cooling; debunks outrageous claims about temperatures, extreme weather and the so-called ‘consensus’; exposes the increasingly shrill calls to ‘act immediately before it’s too late,’ and in perhaps the film’s most important section, profiles key scientists who used to believe in climate alarm but have since converted to skepticism,” reads an explanation of the film on the movie’s website.

The film has been promoted by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

It was financed by the conservative Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, and was written and narrated by Marc Morano, a high-profile climate change skeptic.

Morano, who began his career working for conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh, runs the CFACT-funded blog ClimateDepot.com, which posts information often denying climate change is human-made.

The film caught the attention of late-night talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel, who lambasted Palin during “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday, stating, “The idea that she knows more than 97 percent of scientists is offensive, it’s dangerous.”

Brown defended the film, stating: “These scientists (in the film) are saying that carbon dioxide is a good thing, that it’s actually fertilizing plants, and I think we just need to look at the science. This documentary says that, actually, we’re short on carbon dioxide compared to other times in world history.”

Colorado environmental groups had harsh words for Brown, calling his comments “baffling.”

“It’s an incredibly out-of-touch statement from a legislator whose district continues to have major challenges with air pollution,” said Jessica Goad, spokeswoman for Conservation

Listen: Mike Church Show Features Marc Morano about ‘Climate Hustle’

Mandeville, LA – Mike Church interviews Climate Depot’s Marc Morano to talk about his epic documentary on climate change The Climate Hustle, available soon on DVD. The film and this interview covers Bill Nye The Science Guy’s wish that “warming skeptics” might die; the growing body of scientific evidence that shows no warming this century and the hilarious role reversals this cause the tree-huggers to engage in. Morano is in top form here and listeners are going to want to buy the film after listening to this discussion.
