Exclusive Video: People’s Climate March hostile to skeptics – Attempts to take down signs, deny access
WASHINGTON DC — The People’s Climate March in Washington DC today turned into a hostile environment for climate skeptics. Attempts to deny media credentials, block vehicle access and multiple attacks on banners by the marchers, were frequent throughout the day. The People’s Climate March initially officially rejected climate skeptics’ media credentials, despite the group being being pre-registered for media passes and meeting all requirements. March organizers informed us that we were “not a credible” news outlet and were therefore being denied media credentials which would have granted us access to speaker and VIP areas of the march. Prior to being told we were rejected, the organizers had given no indication that there was any kind of issue. After submitting our registration for media passes, we received regular media updates throughout the week.
But a few hours later, The People’s Climate March reversed their decision and issued media credentials for us at the march…sort of. We went to the main media tent and asked why we were not allowed to be credentialed. We saw on the media list that our entry on it had a huge red line through it, implying that we had been approved, but then red lined out and rejected.
After hearing that “space was limited” and “I only work here” and “not sure” why you can’t get credentials, we were directed to one of the heads of credentialing who finally approved our passes. I asked “ Do you really want another Berkeley” style incident here?
But even though we finally received our press passed, we had already missed most of the VIP area media availability, so the passes came a bit too late to have a full access to the attendees.
When we were finally allowed into the VIP area, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse recognized me from time as a former Sen. Inhofe staff as the Director of Communications for the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee and from the film “Merchants of Doubt” which smears climate skeptics (and which Whitehouse had a special screening on Capitol Hill).
I had a rousing interview with Whitehouse, but immediately after that, a whisper campaign in the VIP area …
Skeptics To Attend People’s Climate March – Will Feature Billboards Rejecting Premise of March and Hand Out New Report Debunking Marchers’ Claims
Contact: Marc Morano – 202-536-5052 – [email protected]
WASHINGTON DC, April 29, 2017 – Climate skeptics from the Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT) will be in attendance at the “People’s Climate March” in our nation’s capital on Saturday April 29 and will be bringing large billboards countering the premise of the march.
Images of billboards that will be at the march below:
The skeptics will also be handing out a newly released report “How to Talk Climate Change Issues 2017” offering a virtual A-Z debunking of the climate claims that will be heard at the march.

The “Talking Points Memo,” by veteran climate journalist Marc Morano of CFACT’s Climate Depot, is a complete skeptics’ guide for elected officials, media and the public on how to discuss global warming backed up by dozens of citations to peer-reviewed research.
“We look forward to wading into the crowds at the march and presenting the scientific facts to counter this utter nonsense, ” Morano said. “Make no mistake, climate campaigners who tout UN agreements and EPA regulations as a way to control Earth’s temperature and storminess are guilty of belief in superstition,” he added.
The need for a “Talking Points Memo,” according to Morano, became evident after several government officials fared poorly in their attempts to defend a skeptical view of climate change in recent high-profile media interviews.
“It is obvious that many in Washington badly need information on how to articulate the case against man-made climate change fears,” he said.
Many of the arguments put forth by global warming advocates either embellish or distort the scientific facts on a host of issues, ranging from rising sea levels and global temperatures to polar caps to extreme weather and polar bears, among others. The “Talking Points Memo” is designed to arm people with important facts so they can better engage in climate change debate with those advocating the UN/Al Gore position. Footnotes are provided to substantiate all the claims made in the document.

The last time we saw Climate Hustle director Marc Morano, he was causing a ruckus at the UN Climate Change Conference in Morocco. His documentary detailing misconceptions about climate change, and obvious enthusiasm for Donald Trump, made him so unwelcome he was “escorted” out by climate cops.
I recently ran into Marc in much tamer circumstances when he was a keynote speaker at this year’s Freedom Talk event hosted by the Economic Education Association here in Alberta.
A lot has changed since Morocco and of course, Morano had a lot to say about the new President of the United States, Donald Trump.
Watch as I speak with Morano about Trump’s climate change policies and get his take on how to gauge Trump’s success on the way to making America great again!
Morano is currently working on a sequel to Climate Hustle as he continues to challenge the scientific consensus on climate change. Just back from a screening of the documentary in Brussels for the EU Parliament, Morano’s film is making the rounds and impacting the conversation.
Weather Channel Founder John Coleman, a meteorologist for over six decades, is issuing a full frontal attack on Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Sequel” – a sequel to his original “An Inconvenient Truth” being debuted today at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, the day before President-Elect Donald Trump will be sworn in.
“Gore’s Hollywood friends are giving his blatantly unscientific scare predictions a new platform,” Coleman told Climate Depot in an exclusive interview.
“We have been horrified that Gore’s first scientific monstrosity has been shown as factual in schools throughout the world for all these years while our presentations in rebuttal have been generally ignored by educators and the liberal biased media,” Coleman told Climate Depot in an exclusive interview.
Climate Hustle Rebuts Gore’s films
Coleman continued: “For years others and I begged Hollywood to give a scientifically accurate counteract on Gore’s sci-fi film a chance. We were ready and willing to make a fun but scientifically factual rebuttal to Mr. Gore. We were totally ignored. Thank goodness CFACT was able, at last, to produce a very well done answer with an internationally released theatrical film called “Climate Hustle,” written and hosted by Marc Morano.
The critically acclaimed “Climate Hustle,” which was the #1 movie in America per screen during its national event in 400 theaters, will also be having its “Streaming Video on Demand” debut on January 19th to coincide with the release of Gore’s sequel.
“Climate Hustle” features politically left scientists who voted for Gore, but were “appalled” after viewing his film. See: Watch: Prominent Ivy League Geologist who voted for Gore ‘appalled’ after viewing his film
“It is deeply depressing to hear that a new Al Gore movie on climate change will debut at actor Robert Redford’s Sundance film festival. Thousands of scientists have debunked the horrid science fiction in his first film, ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, Coleman explained.
“Gore keeps making billions and mis-educating millions and the media keeps spreading wild science-fiction claims on a daily basis,” Coleman added.
Coleman’s Key Climate Facts:
- 97% of scientists do NOT agree that the science of climate change is settled. Not by a long shot. That oft-quoted statistic was totally fabricated as is the claim that the tiny fraction of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere as a result of mankind’s use of fossil fuels to power our wonderful civilization of smart phones,
Marc Morano of Climate Depot warned the intent now is not to discuss, investigate or research, but to send “a chilling message to doubters and skeptics” to be silent.
Morano said his movie, “Climate Hustle,” shows “the climate establishment comparing climate skeptics to Holocaust deniers.”
“It’s all an attempt to silence the debate, to silence any science and go right to centralized planning,” he said. “That’s what this is all about. The U.N. has admitted their goal is wealth redistribution and it doesn’t have anything to do with environmental policy.”
The solution offered by the climate establishment, he said, is always the same: “more centralized government.”
He said the result will be tragic for large populations who are being denied access to pumped water, power and heat because of antagonism to carbon-based fuels.
“The reason we know there’s a hustle is their predictions have failed to come true, on a whole host of issues,” Morano said. “That’s why they now want to stop the debate, suppress debate.”…

ABC News Peter Jennings: “Al Gore genuinely believes that if he does not prevail, the apocalypse is coming. His opponents think he is the danger.”
American University climate Statistics Professor Dr. Caleb Rossiter: “I think [Gore’s film] is a wonderful teaching tool because it shows how we don’t do science.”
University of Pennsylvania Geologist Dr. Robert Giegengack: “I voted for Gore in 2000, yeah. I think that if he ran again, depending on who he ran against, I might vote for him. He’s a smart man.”
Climate Hustle’s Marc Morano: “But after viewing Gore’s film, Giegengack had this reaction.”
Giegengack: “And I was appalled. I was appalled because he…either deliberately misrepresented the point he was making or didn’t understand it. So it was irresponsible of Al Gore.”
(Dr. Robert Giegengack, chaired the Department of Earth and Environmental Science at the University of Pennsylvania.)
Morano: “Are you afraid of rising CO2 concentrations?”
Giegengack: “No, no I’m not. CO2 is not the villain that it has been portrayed. I’m impressed by the fact that the present climate, from the perspective of a geologist, is very close to the coldest it’s ever been…the concentration CO2 in the atmosphere today is the close to the lowest it has ever been.
Ivy League geologist Dr. Robert Giegengack, former chair of Department of Earth and Environmental Science at the University of Pennsylvania, spoke out in 2007 against fears of rising CO2 impacts promoted by Gore and others. Giegengack noted “for most of Earth’s history, the globe has been warmer than it has been for the last 200 years. It has rarely been cooler.” (LINK) “[Gore] claims that temperature increases solely because more CO2 in the atmosphere traps the sun’s heat. That’s just wrong … It’s a natural interplay. As temperature rises, CO2 rises, and vice versa,” Giegengack explained. “It’s hard for us to say that CO2 drives temperature. It’s easier to say temperature drives CO2,” he added. (LINK) “The driving mechanism is exactly the opposite of what Al Gore claims, both in his film and in that book. It’s the temperature that, through those 650,000 years, controlled the CO2; not the CO2 that controlled the temperature,” he added. (LINK)

Former Vice President Al Gore is planning to release a sequel to his 2006 film “An Inconvenient Truth.” See: Sundance to Open with Al Gore “An Inconvenient Truth” Sequel. But Gore’s film will be met by a new reality in the U.S. with the election of Donald Trump as President: Climate skeptics will be back in charge and are poised to dismantle the climate agenda that Gore has spent decades promoting.
From Trump’s pledges to pull the U.S. out of the UN Paris climate agreement to his promises to defend the UN climate panel to his EPA pick Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt who is set to reverse the agencies climate regulations.

It’s a new dawn for climate skepticism, denial and doubt.
And yesterday, at an event at the conservative Heritage Foundation headquarters in Washington, the side of the climate fight that has viewed the last eight years of increasingly aggressive environmental regulations as a setback laid out its plan of attack.
Finally, it said, the time has come to significantly shift climate science away from the place it has held during the Obama years. Speaker after speaker repeated the notion that they would now win over the American public and that a new war had begun against those who have essentially forced them underground and out of favor for almost a decade.
The crowd included advisers to President-elect Donald Trump, conservative pundits and energy industry lobbyists eager to
Al Gore is getting back into the film business.
A decade after releasing An Inconvenient Truth, his Oscar-winning 2006 documentary about the climate change crisis, the former vice president will unveil a sequel next year, Paramount announced Friday.
“Now more than ever we must rededicate ourselves to solving the climate crisis. But we have reason to be hopeful; the solutions to the crisis are at hand,” said Gore in a statement.
Directed by Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk, Paramount says the new film will differ from An Inconvenient Truth, which mixed documentary footage with Gore’s slide presentation about the dangers of global warming. In the sequel, Gore “travels the world and delivers an inspirational story of change in the making,” the studio said in a description.
