Speaking with CNN’s John Sutter, Obama EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy warns America’s utility industry not to invest in coal-fired power plants because the next Administration after Donald Trump’s will shut them down: “They are not going to go backwards… You’ll be asking them to invest in facilities that they know the next Administration would never allow to continue.”
EPA ADMINISTRATOR GINA MCCARTHY: “I know how the utility industry has already planned, not just because of the Clean Power Plan, but because of the shift to clean energy. They are not going to go backwards, cause you’ll be asking them to actually increase energy prices. You’ll be asking them to invest in facilities that they know the next Administration would never allow to continue. Because the longer we go, the more you’re actually going to need to have continued reductions more and more and that’s the challenge. So, the utilities won’t change.”

If Trump and crew require the EPA to provide real science to uphold the endangerment finding, or provide a valid definition of “pollutant”, or move the responsibilities of the EPA to the states,or undo all the sue and settle directives, or exempt CO2 from the clean air act, or enforce the requirement for cost-benefit analysis, or require peer review of estimates of health effects’ or…..
Then there is a very good chance that another administration could not undo that progress and revert to the deluded quagmire the EPA is today.

I’m sure there could be some laws passed that wouldn’t let a future administration just shut down coal because they dislike the cheap power it produces.

Currently, the EPA faces a 4-4 vote within the Supreme Court. It will be more difficult to pass their “Congress-Free” agenda when the “new court” is stacked 6-3 against Executive Action…….
Gina McCarthy is clearly delusional. She can’t control what the Trump Administration will do. So how can she tell what the next President will do?

It’s time Gina was placed in a court of law, under oath, on that of perjury and asked to provide an actual EVIDENTIAL basis for the EPA’s regulations, which excludes belief, models, consensus, etc., but uses actual untampered with observational data. I.e. the very thing all climate Alarmists are strenuously trying to avoid doing.
