Environmental Justice campaign to replace New York City peaking power plants

At this time, environmental justice organization are conducting a well-orchestrated effort to replace peaking power plants in New York City. New York energy and environmental policy initiatives are catering to these organizations and the New York Senate has even passed a law codifying the approach proposed. I suspect that this approach will become evident on the national level soon.
