IPCC’s latest SciFi Report and the counters.

The Global Warming Alarmists are frothing at the mouth and spewing the “Need for Panic” due to the IPCC’s latest Assessment report; egSMH – Climate change is real, it’s happening and the risks are many and rising, so says the Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change in its latest report. Follow our live coverage below.WaPo – There are probably going to be relatively more extremely hot days than extremely cold ones, and water- and food-borne illnesses will probably increase. The Week: Climate change looks bad, potentially very bad, and therefore we should curtail the greenhouse gas emissions which cause it.Climate Science Watch: In fact, we’re in more climate trouble than we’ve ever been, and the report makes this clearOnEarth: Hayhoe: “But what about the pause in global warming?” And their response was, ‘There is no pause. Look at the data.”On and on roll the Global Warming Nazi’s foreboding of disasters. Take that last diatribe from Katherine Hayhoe, who describes herself as an atmospheric scientist and associate professor of political science at Texas Tech university where she is director of the climate science Centre. How can she say that there is no pause? Obviously, that is her political side speaking, not her scientific side!BUT, other than the alarmists, how was the report received in the real world?Heartland’s Joe Bast says “The IPCC’s Latest Report Deliberately Excludes And Misrepresents Important Climate Science.” Check the IPCC’s alarmist “science” with the NIPCC’s reasoned response.Richard Tol asked for his name to be removed from the report because, as he said, “the United Nations agency’s inflammatory and alarmist claims delegitimize the IPCC as a credible and neutral institution.”The Telegraph’s Christopher Booker asks: “How did the IPCC’s alarmism take everyone in for so long?” Climate scaremongers are still twisting the evidence over global warming.Matt Ridley, for The WSJ, writes: But for the past 15-17 years there has been essentially no net warming (a “hiatus” now conceded by the IPCC), a fact that the models did not predict and now struggle to explain. The favorite post-hoc explanation is that because of natural variability in ocean currents more heat has been slipping into the ocean since 2000—although the evidence for this is far from conclusive.Judith Curry listed over a dozen more comments on the IPCC report: “I am short on time and can’t do much in the way of analysis. I’ve pulled a number of articles to include in future main posts.  I hope you will find these articles interesting.”NO! Don’t push that panic button!
