Welcome to Climate Depot, the most effective source of climate communication on Earth!

Climate Depot's Mission

Welcome to Climate Depot, the most effective source of climate communication on Earth! That’s the conclusion published in a “peer-reviewed” scientific journal on August 13, 2019, so we suppose it most be true. Climate Depot, spearheaded by Marc Morano, serves as an information clearinghouse and one-stop shop for reporters, policymakers, students, scientists and concerned citizens seeking a balanced perspective that corrects the record on global warming, energy, the environment and other issues impacting people and our planet. We serve as an ombudsman of media eco-reporting. Climate Depot was launched in April of 2009 as a special project of CFACT, The Committee For a Contructive Tomorrow, a Washington, D.C.-based, freedom-oriented, public policy organization that has been working since 1985 to provide facts and analysis that allow people to make informed choices on these crucial issues. Vast sums are being expended, major economic transformations proposed, and we are regularly asked to curtail individual freedom, all in the name of global warming, climate change, climate crisis, or whatever they come up with next. The dire pronouncements we hear daily, the routine falsehoods and exaggerations, and the questionable, yet undeniably expensive, “solutions” set forth, cry out for critical examination. Climate Depot effectively ensures that examination takes place for all to see. We need to make informed, rational decisions about what drives the climate, whether and what actions are advisable, how effective they would be, and whether the benefits outweigh the costs. Climate Depot fearlessly and diligently provides all sides when we consider a public policy issue. We stand squarely behind your right to speak and know. To those who seek to cut off debate, bury the facts, and censor inconvenient viewpoints we ask, “what are you afraid of?”

AboutMarc Morano

Morano’s Climate Depot is “a great aggregation of so many stories — mostly of the radical, unbelievable apocalyptic kind — and it is great reference point for you. You’ll be able to find whatever you want. You’ll be able to find people who advocate for it and have their arguments blown to smithereens.”
