CLIMATE LITIGATION BOMBSHELL: New Paper Exposes AG “Climate” Suit as Illicit Product of Private Lobbying, Misrepresentation, Paid ‘Cutouts’
This paper, and yesterday’s Supreme Court opinion in BP p.l.c. et al. v Mayor & City Council of Baltimore, serve as bookend reminders of the importance of this jurisdictional issue in the wave of “climate” litigation washing over state courthouses around the country, and the impropriety of their proceeding in local courts.…
New Scientist: Bleaching Protects Coral – But Only Up to 2C of Global Warming
New Scientist has discovered that bleaching is a mechanism by which coral protects itself from abrupt warming (or cooling). But if global warming hits 2C, somehow all the coral will know it is time to die.…
How epidemiologists try to fool us with flawed statistical practices
We have just completed a study for the National Association of Scholars [1] that took a deep dive looking at flawed statistical practices used in the field of environmental epidemiology. The study focused on air quality−health effect claims; more specifically PM2.5−health effect claims. However, the flawed practices apply to all aspects of risk factor−chronic disease research. The study also looked at how government bureaucrats use these claims to skew policy in favor of PM2.5 regulation and their own positions.…
A New Space Instrument Captures Its First Solar Eruption
Solar Orbiter has already taken the closest picture of the Sun to date, and it will only get closer. Solar Orbiter’s official mission begins in November, when SoloHI and the rest of the remote-sensing instruments will be switched on in full science mode. Stay tuned!…
Models vs Observations: Study predicts Global Warming will Cause Deserts to Grow
As real world observations suggest deserts are shrinking, likely thanks to CO2 increasing drought resistance, a new model based study has presented a gloomy prediction of future widespread hunger, especially in Asia.…
Claim: Permafrost carbon feedbacks threaten global climate goals
From the PNAS Abstract Rapid Arctic warming has intensified northern wildfires and is thawing carbon-rich permafrost. Carbon emissions from permafrost thaw and Arctic wildfires, which are not fully accounted for……
