James Inhofe: EPA ‘Brainwashing’ Children With Climate ‘Propaganda’

Sen. James Inhofe piled on the EPA as it faces a 31 percent cut in President Donald Trump’s first budget, charging on Thursday that the agency was “brainwashing” children with “propaganda.”

The Republican Oklahoma senator, and supporter of current Environmental Protection Agency head Scott Pruitt, made the comments to anchor Poppy Harlow during an appearance on CNN’s “New Day.”

“We are going to take all this stuff that comes out of the EPA that is brainwashing our kids, that is propaganda, things that aren’t true, allegations,” Inhofe said, though at the time he did not point to any specific examples.

Inhofe, a frequent climate change skeptic, made similar comments to conservative talk show host Eric Metaxas after the senator said that one of his grandchildren asked why he was a climate change denier, according to Newsweek.

“You know, our kids are being brainwashed? I never forget because I was the first one back in 2002 to tell the truth about the global warming stuff and all of that,” Inhofe said.

“And my own granddaughter came home one day and said, … ‘Popi, why is it you don’t understand global warming?’ I did some checking, and Eric, the stuff that they teach our kids nowadays, you have to un-brainwash them when they get out.”…

Warmists freak: ‘Trump Threatens To Take Us Back To The Climate Dark Ages’

The fate of our planet has considerably worsened in the last 24 hours. Donald Trump has taken his first steps towards unwinding his predecessor Barack Obama’s hard won climate change legacy.

In his inaugural budget on Thursday, the tycoon tweeter proposed slashing the Environmental Protection Agency’s budget by some 2.7 billion dollars. Such a move would scrap funding for a string of environmental programs, including Obama’s landmark plan to fight climate change by reining in emissions from America’s vast fleet of power plants.

“Literally and figuratively, this is a scorched-earth budget that represents an all-out assault on clean air, water, and land,” said Gina McCarthy, Obama’s last EPA chief. “You can’t put ‘America First’ when you put the health of its people and its country last.”

Paper: Fight against ‘climate change’ finds an unlikely ally — Trump – His support of fracking will cause lower emissions

YESTERDAY by: Pilita Clark, Environment Correspondent Is Donald Trump about to become a leading force in the global effort to combat climate change? It seems unlikely, considering the US president has called global warming a “hoax” concocted by China (http://next.ft.com/content/35803636-a82a-11e6-8898-79a99e2a4de6) to hurt US industry and vowed to unpick the Paris climate accord that is supposed to curb rising temperatures. However, new data from the International Energy Agency showing that carbon emissions from burning fossil fuels have remained flat for three years in a row, despite a growing global economy, suggest Mr Trump might play a bigger climate role than expected. One reason emissions have stalled is that the shale revolution hailed by Mr Trump has led to a surge in cheaper natural gas that has pushed out coal in the US. The shale boom has already 3/17/2017 Fight against climate change finds an unlikely ally: Donald Trump https://www.ft.com/content/ab9bd972-0a6a-11e7-97d1-5e720a26771b 2/6 helped drive down gas prices and may accelerate as Mr Trump moves to ease drilling regulations and spur what Fatih Birol, IEA executive director, called a “de-bottlenecking” of gas infrastructure…

Shocker: Little known ‘Financial Stability Board’ has huge climate deceit

SB, Climate Cabal expand power and wealth, by targeting financial and insurance industries

Foreword:

A powerful international organization, the Financial Stability Board, includes a task force that is helping to coordinate numerous attacks on financial, investing, insurance and other firms … and their clients … in the name of preventing dangerous manmade climate change. By locking up centuries of fossil fuel reserves, the FSB’s army of agitators hope to benefit immensely – at the expense of ordinary people everywhere.

The vice-chair of the FSB’s climate disclosure task force says the world will have to spend $93 trillion over the next 15 years on “renewable, sustainable” energy and low-carbon infrastructure programs, as part of the Climate Crisis, Inc. plan to de-carbonize and de-industrialize the planet. Naturally, most of that money will flow to its crony corporatist allies. Their ultimate goal is to enrich and empower themselves … and fundamentally transform the global economy – to our detriment, and especially the detriment of the world’s poorest families – using our taxpayer, consumer, and investment, retirement, insurance and pension fund money!…

Trump’s Budget Takes a Cleaver to Cronyism and Waste at the Energy Department

President Donald Trump released his budget blueprint today, and his proposal for the Department of Energy is a breath of fresh air. This proposal reflects the president’s priority of “[putting] America first by keeping more of America’s hard-earned tax dollars here at home.” Opponents have pilloried the draft as anti-science, anti-clean energy, and even extreme—all of which lack merit.

Trump Budget: US To Stop Funding UN Climate Process

In a budget blueprint released on Thursday morning, US president Donald Trump proposed sweeping cuts to US financial support for the global fight against climate change. The title page called it the “America First” budget. “Our aim is to meet the simple, but crucial demand of our citizens – a Government that puts the needs of its own people first,” said Trump in a foreword addressed to the US Congress.

Not Funny: Monty Python’s Eric Idle: Climate skeptics should be put on trial for ‘crimes against humanity’

Comedian Eric Idle, of “Monty Python” fame, issued a call to place “global warming” skeptics on trial at the World Court because “denying climate change is a crime against humanity. ”

“I think that denying climate change is a crime against humanity. And they should be held accountable in a World Court,” Idle tweeted from his @EricIdle account on March 15. (H/T: Twitchy)

Climate activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. also called for the “climate deniers” to be jailed at the World Court in 2014. See: 2014: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Wants To Jail ‘Climate Deniers’ – ‘Do I think they should be in jail, I think they should be enjoying three hots and a cot at the Hague with all the other war criminals,” Kennedy declared. Bill Nye, seemed to agree. This is not the first time Eric Idle has entered the climate change debate. In 2016, Idle slammed Austrian Senator Malcolm Roberts for his public skepticism of man-made global warming claims. Idle tweeted: “Where do people like Malcolm Roberts Come from and how do they get elected? To Deny climate change is very dangerous to us all,” Idle tweeted on August 16, 2016.

Update: James Delingpole of Breitbart reports: Climate Change Deniers Should Be Executed ‘Gently’ says Eric Idle – Even though he does apparently believe that the punishment for such “stupidity and ignorance” should be death, Idle generously insists that these deniers should be “put down” “humanely.” He added, “Put down gently.”

Idle posted this Christmas tweet on December 21, 2016 with the title ‘More meds?’
